Smile Confidently & Eat Comfortably With Our Restorative Dentistry

Over her decades of dental experience, Dr. Murmann has transformed the smiles of thousands of patients with her restorative dental skills. No matter what shape your smile is in, she and our team offer solutions that will give you back a beautiful, functional, and strong set of teeth.

When you come in for your consultation, we'll most likely take a set of X-rays and thoroughly examine your teeth. Then, we'll lay out your treatment options and answer any questions you have. This initial visit will give you the information needed for you to decide what's best for your smile.

Below are a few types of restorative dentistry that may be available to you and your family:

  • Tooth Fillings - We use mostly composite resin fillings at our practice. These metal-free fillings repair decayed teeth and blend in naturally with your smile. If desired, you can also get traditional amalgam (silver) fillings.
  • Dental Crowns - Your new BruxZir crown will be crafted from beautiful and long-lasting zirconia. It will cover a damaged or diseased tooth, providing strength and helping prevent additional problems with the tooth.
  • Dental Bridges - Fill gaps in your smile with a natural-looking bridge made from zirconia crowns and artificial teeth. You'll restore practically all of your biting and chewing capacity.
  • Dentures - We offer multiple dentures, one of which will be right for your needs. Choose from traditional full and partial dentures, as well as implant-secured dentures and even temporary dentures.
  • Dental Implants - Implants serve as artificial teeth roots and are inserted into your jaw where you have missing teeth. After a healing period, we will attach replacement teeth to the implants to give you back a complete smile.
  • Root Canal Treatment - If you have an infected tooth, Dr. Murmann can remove the damaged inner part of the tooth and fill it with a rubber-like material. In most cases, a root canal allows us to save a tooth from extraction.

Our team would love to improve your situation. Dr. Murmann is a longtime restorative dentist in Naperville who can use her skills to help you enjoy a varied diet of delicious and nutritious foods again, eliminate any pain you're suffering from, and improve your digestion with more complete chewing.

This is my first time with the Murmann dental health. The whole team is very caring and taking the time to attend their patient, my hygienist was very friendly and helpful and did the cleaning very nicely. And, the Dr was very specifically checked each and every thing on my paper work which I haven't experienced in my previous and prior dentists. I am very much pleased with my appointment, and the dentist I got. Thank you so much Dr. Murmann! And I should thank my periodontist to recommending Dr.Murmann.

Going to the dentist has never been one of my favorite things, but this office truly makes the experience so much better. The front desk staff are warm and friendly. Dr. Murmann is kind, professional, and helps put me more at ease — even with my dental anxiety. She's patient, understanding, and really great with nervous patients. And I have to say — her hygienist Diana is the best! Gentle, thorough, and always so friendly. I don't dread my appointments quite as much as I used to. Highly recommend!

I was referred by a family friend so this was my first visit. I had a broken tooth and another was cracked. I was in some pain. Michelle at the front desk scheduled an appointment for the next business day. Dr Murmann is extremely skilled and very personable. Kayla her assistant was also extremely attentive and competent. They managed my pain and fixed my teeth in the first visit. I have some follow up that will be required but Dr Murmann laid out all my options to consider. Really excellent people and so good at what they do. My mouth went from a pain level of 7-8 to no pain one day later.

They are also really good at taking care of the insurance and sending in estimates so you know what you'll be paying. I can't recommend her highly enough!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Murmann for almost 15 years. The care and quality from her and her staff is unmatched. A few years ago I had to switch to a different dentist due to insurance issues, and havent been able to find anyone with the same quality. Most people dread going to the dentist. I would look forward to it. Over the weekend I broke my front tooth and was expecting it to be pulled. I called up her office (it had been several years) bawling my eyes out, willing to pay out of pocket, because I knew she would be able to help. Even if the damage was too severe, she would be able to guide me with the next steps. She got me in the next morning and was able to save my tooth! I cant thank her enough. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

I was lucky enough to say that about my previous dentist as well and when he retired i hunted on Reddit for recommendations and found Murmann! 30 minutes after my cleaning, I recommended Dr. Murmann ( and Gina.. the most gentle hygenist I've ever experienced) to a woman in line at Homegoods next door to the office. Common Questions About Restorative Dentistry

What does restorative dentistry include?
Restorative treatment includes any service designed to relieve pain and help you regain oral function, like tooth fillings, root canals, and crowns and bridges, as well as dentures and dental implants. Any time you have a tooth that suffers damage from decay, infection, injury, or another type of trauma, restorative dentistry can repair it so you can save the tooth from further damage or extraction.
What does restorative dentistry cost?

Because restorative dentistry covers such a wide range of procedures, you can expect an equally wide range of costs depending on the treatment you need. A simple tooth filling is going to cost much less than a dental crown, for example. Replacement teeth, like dentures and dental implants, will require more planning and more involved procedures, so you can expect a greater financial investment.

What are the benefits of restorative dentistry?
Maintaining good oral health isn't just about keeping your teeth and gums clean. You will also need to undergo dental treatment if problems arise, like tooth decay, cavities, and oral infections. Restorative dentistry is designed to treat those types of problems, many of which can cause pain and disrupt the function of your teeth, to keep your smile healthy and help you eat easily and comfortably.
